I recently received the following request: "I am trying to find out who were the parents of a Marie Gagnon who resided in Kankakee, IL. She would have been born ca. 1792, married ca. 1813 to Antoine Marcotte. Known children were Antoine (b. 1818), Jean-Baptiste (b. 1823), Eloie (b. 1824), Narcisse (b. 1831), Louis (b. 1829), Francis (b. 1834) and Julia (b. 1840)." Does anyone have ideas about where to look for such information? (I have done scant research in Kankakee county for these early dates!) Chuck Wilcox
