I am looking to locate anyone else researching the surname of DUCAT. My ancestors emigrated from Belgium in the mid 1800's and settled in Illinois around the towns of L'Erable, Ashkum, and Clifton. I have info that takes the family back to the mid-1600's in Belgium, but do not have as much info on them after they settled in Illinois.
