Hi list In the 1910 census, I found one of my relatives, Richard HOWSE, living in the Kankakee State Hospital (Institute for the Insane). According to his gravestone, he died some time in 1910. What would be the best way to get his exact date of death? Once I have that, what is the best way to find an obituary for him? Is there any way I can get more medical information on him? It seems that he is the third member of this family to die in a mental institution which certainly is a cause for some concern.
