I am looking for information on JW Troughton. I know that in 1893 he was 26 years old, and he was a carpenter in Paxton (Ford Cty), Illinois. His father is John Troughton and his mother's maiden name is possibly Jane Conn. (The name is difficult to read from the marriage register.) Any information about the Troughtons or Conns in Ford County would be appreciated. In looking through records in Paxton, IL in a newspaper I found a short obituary for a Mrs. JW Troughton who died in Kankakee, IL. This could be his mother.
