John and Nancy (Dilley) Besett moved to Iroquois/Kankakee IL after the purchase of govt. land in 1849. I have checked the 1850 Iroquois census and did not fine them, although her brother, Hiram Dilly and family and Joseph Dilly and family, were there. I know that they had children with them and that Nancy Dilley Besett was born in IL 31 Jul 1851. Can anyone help? Kathryn Leslie
