Hi Ronette, I would suggest The Paxton Record. They are in their 134th year of publication, and probably old editions are available on microfilm. Ford County does not have a genealogical society, but does have a historical society. One of the people receiving a copy of this is a member of the historical society and can advise you on accessibility and availability of old editions. Another person receiving a copy of this is the president of the Iroquois County Genealogical Society. There is a substantial microfilm collection at the society, and a search and copy can be done for a very reasonable fee if those issues are available on film. Good luck.
