Hi. My name is Lynn Clarke and I am researching the Chaput line, among others. My gggrandfather was Stanislas Chaput, and his parents were Charles Chaput and Marie Desange Sauve. They had other children also. Burial is listed as BMVM Catholic Cemetary, Bourbonnaise. They migrated from Canada and two weeks after arrivingm the whole family died (unknown cause) except Stanislas. His obit says that he was raised by his granparents, Chaput? or Sauve? Stanislas move to Cloud County, Kansas in 1867.
