Hello! Has any one had any experience with LDS Naturalization microfilms? If so, what info do they contain? The LDS films come in three cans 1321549, 1321550, and 1321551. Do all three films contain "intentions"? I understand that only the "Intentions" contain the bios and info on the immigrant. Is this correct? What are the 'dockets' and what are the 'records'? I remember that we went through a discussion on this topic back in 1998 and wonder if anything else has since been learned on the subject of Naturalization records in Iroquois Co. Here are the film numbers I got from the LDS on-line catalog: Film #1321549 contains: Naturalization docket C 1893-1903 B 1876-1892. (to page 50) Film #1321550 contains: B (from pg 51) A 1869-1903 Naturalization record 1 1859-1880 B 1880-1903 2 1878-1903 Film #1321551 contains : 2 (repeat filming) 3 1904-1906 4 1903-1906 2 (intentions) 1903-1906 B (intentions ) 1881-1903. I recently received an index card from the National Archives on my ancestor Henry BONNETT, who lived in Sheldon in 1880 and until his death in the early 1900s. The index card shows that Henry's Naturalization certificate record is in Vol. B., Pg. 17. His date of Naturalization was Nov. 2, 1880. Tital and location of court is given as : Cir. Ct., Iroquois Co., Ill. By the way, the archives sent me the address of Iroquois County Court at 550 South 10th there in Watseka and told me to order copies of the file from there.
