List Members, Thanks for your past help. Still searching for burial place of Fredricka Arndt, who died at the Kankakee State Hospital 26 Apr 1885, and was buried in Kankakee 28 Apr 1885. The death certificate number is 63, dated 5 May 1885. The undertaker appears to be Wm. Frith, of Kankakee, the physician Dr. ?. C. Wescott, also of Kankakee. A funeral home in Kankakee has been of great help, but found that fire destroyed hospital records for that period of time. My hope is that records from Wm. Frith were passed on to someone who bought the business from him. If so, the grave site of Fredricka would almost surely be recorded.
