Hello List Members, The Kankakee County death certificate for FREDERIKA ARNDT (from Staunton, Macoupin County, IL)shows she died (age 85) at the Kankakee State Hospital on 26 Apr 1885, and was buried in Kankakee(most likely in the hospital cemetery) on 28 Apr 1885. The name of the undertaker appears to be Wm. Frith. I want to determine if Frederika had the full name of Lucia Friderica Christine Arndt nee Willert, and a birth date of 17 Oct 1802. I would also like to find the burial site, but have heard that numbers, not names, were used on graves in the hospital cemetery. However, if dates also appear, the site can be identified.
