I assume that your reference to Philomene was to Philomene Beland who was the daughter of Theodore Beland and Euphrosine Martin. In my file, I have a copy of the proof of heirship in the Estate of Antoine Beland who died on 20 Dec 1924. Included in his heirs, ie his brothers and sisters, were the descendants of Philomene Barland, deceased, her children: Rose Smith, Mary Legeault, Arthur Barland, Louise Gauthleir, Peter Barland, Sarah Proulx and Exilda Daniels.
