    1. [ILFORD-L] Lamb surname
    2. Melinda Walters
    3. I am looking for information on the LAMB family. They lived in or around Gibson City, Ford Co. Illinois in the middle to late 1800's. They owned (with the Edwards family) a furniture store/mortuary. I know that Wallace S. LAMB had two children: Wilber and Shurnway. I have a picture labeled Cleo LAMB and Wally. I am not sure if Wally is Wallace but it looks like it. Also a Della Edwards married a LAMB. I am also looking for information on the Edwards family. Does anyone have any information or suggestions? 1. [ILFORD-L] GEDDES/LAIRD/HAWTHORNE Iroquois Co.
    2. Judy
    3. Hi, I have a family/group photo (33 people), looks like early 1900s (probably before 1920) with a list of names of people in the photo. Unfortunately, there is only a list of names, the names listed do not identify who in the photo is which person. There are a lot of GEDDES, and a GEDDES farm was just next to the farm owned by Squire LAIRD (my grandfather) near Milford. If there is anyone who would like to help identify the people in this photo, email me at griffinl@athenet.net. I do have a scanner and can put the photo on the web. Here's the list of names: Anna REETZ Edith HAWTHORN Della HAWTHORN Ethel HAWTHORN Arla? ADAMS Arthur GEDDES Maud GEDDES Nellie LAIRD Omar LAIRD Jane LAIRD Walt BAKER Ernest HAWTHORNE Leora GEDDES Myrtle GEDDES ROYER Goldie GEDDES Minnie GEDDES The GEDDES names are all spelled Geddis, which I believe is an error. 1. [ILFORD-L] Census records, 1870 -- RIECKMANN
    2. Hi, Is there someone who could do a look up for Christoph and Elisabeth RIECKMANN / RICKMANN in the Grant Park area of Kankakee county? My grandmother Anna Maria Dorothea Rieckmann spoke of her childhood there where she was born in 1869. There were 2 older children as well. Elisabeth's maiden name was WOLLE -- I'd be interested in anyone with that name, too., as well as SCHULZ. One of my grandmother's god-mothers was Marie Schulz. Thanks so much for any help you can give me! Mona Houser Mona_Houser@juno.com http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~monajo/ = Pain and suffering are inevitable. 1. [ILFORD-L] Births/Baptisms in Kankakee Co.
    2. Hi, I'll jump in here with a request for information on births and baptism also, but mine are Lutheran. The RIECKMANN / RICKMANN family lived in the Grant Park area in the late 1860 - early 1870's. I'm specifically looking for children of Christoph RIECKMANN and his wife Elisabeth WOLLE: Katharina Maria Dorothea born 14 May 1871 and Wilhelm Friedrich born 21 Sept 1873 An older child had been baptized St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Beecher, but these 2 younger ones are not in the records there. I suspect that by 1871, there was a Lutheran Church closer to where the family lived. Does anyone know the availability of Lutheran Church records in the Grant Park area? ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. If you should have anything on this person, please get in touch. To my knowledge there isn't an Illinois connection for her, but there may be a Quebec tie-in. Thanks!
