Would be interested in hearing what Evans you have. My Evans ancestors came from Ky to Scott Co., IL and then to Piatt Co., IL. I also have Depew ancestors in Fayette Co. who married into the Wren family there. I haven't looked yet but I think I have the Strother name somewhere in the family.
