I have a gg grand father Jacob Metcalf born in Wayne County,Ohio on June 20,1826 and died in Fayette County,Vandalia, ILLNOIS on August 14,1910..was obituary of him in Vandalia Union Paper on Aug.18,1910 and listed my great grand father, grand father and his siblings...Would so much like to learn more about great grand father and who he married..great grand father was John,don't know anything more than that and I got that from another obituary on my grand father Francis (Frank)Elmer Metcalf born in Fayette Co. ILL on 5-4-1886 and died on 10-10-1952 in Elvins,MO.
