Greetings ! I am looking for information on Nathaniel Logan Nowlin. He was born in Sumner Co., Tenn. But by the 1830's he had moved to Fayette co., Ill. He married Sarah Reavis whose fatherinlaw was a John Nowlin. I do not know the relationship to Nathaniel. He and Sarah had one son named Preston. Nathaniel married second, Susannah Swisher (1st married Benjamin Moore). Then they moved to DeWitt, Ill. I have lots of info on them after that until abt. 1860. Susanna's mother... Rachel Curl... had lived with them and when she passed away, Nathaniel and Susanna disappeared! I have looked many places and been in contact with lots of NOWLIN family members but no one can connect me to Nathaniel's family. I hope someone here can help. I have other Fayette connections also.
