Hey all, As you may have known, the IlGenWeb (part of the USGenWeb) is putting the entire Civil War Rosters in the IlGenWeb archives. We have decided to extend that and add a bit. We are now going to be putting pictures of the soldiers (individual, if possible) in the Archives. We need pictures! We can get some, but that is pretty limited. So, if any of you have pictures get hold of Susan Potts (the State Coordinator) so arrangements can be made. You can send her e-mail to [email protected] Also, we are going to be doing another section with stories of the individual soldiers. Kind of a biography, if you will. (More details than AGR has in it's remarks column, at least). Also, if you know where the ancestor is buried, please include that information. We will be linking the photo's to the Rosters, and to the bio (if one exists, that is). So, if you do have either pictures or bio/stories, and would be willing to share them with the rest...please let either Susan or myself know. Be sure to put CW Project/Photo (or BIO) in the subject line. That way we'll know what it is for. Oh, and please be sure to indicate what unit and etc., and also the county.
