Blackmore Hiram Blankenship was b. 1830 in Illinois. He was the son of Gilbert Blankenship (1790 0r 1792) and Elizabeth Hughes (1808). This was Gilbert third marriage. Cann't find Blackmore as one of Gilbert's sons. The other children of Gilbert was Payton, Hyram, Elizabeth, Charles, Martha, Elbert, John and Joseph. Also was told that Gilbert Blankenship Feb 5, 1856 D. 1941 son of Blackmore married Isabelle House or Davis or Hughes don't know which one is right. On my dads birth cert. it says Hughes b. in Mississippi. Any help finding out which one is right on the Blankenships would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Bill Blankenship
