Hi, Need information on Robert McConnell who died 4 Oct 1884 and is buried in Old Liberty Cemetery, Sefton Twp., Fayette Co. Il. Who was Robert's wife? Need maiden name, marrige date, ect? In the census her name is Alelia ? Wher did Robert Come from? (County, State) Robert's father was James, mother unknown, brother Francis, and sister Sally who married Hansel Blurton. I just checked the 1850 census for your Robert McConnell. He was 34 born in TN and occupation was merchant. Also in his household was Milly A. 37, also born in TN. No McConnell children listed but there is a 17 year old female whose name looked like Mirsala Sapp living with them. Her birthplace was O, which I think must be Ohio. I checked the IRAD marriage records and could not find Robert and Milly. Perhaps they married in TN. Lynne
