I've found quite a few people sending messages to this list using the 'request' address, which is only for subbing or unsubbing. The correct address (to send regular messages) is ILFAYETTE-L@rootsweb.com (or replace the L with a D, if you are using the D mode) The only time to use the ILFAYETTE-L-Request@rootsweb.com, (or replace the L with a D, if you are using the D mode) is if you are wanting to unsubscribe, or subscribe.
