Ramona, Which DONALDSON with names & some dates, are you looking for? I have some odds & ends of various surnames and cemeteries. My handwritten cemetery inscriptions. I was raised west of Vandalia, IL. The old Hurricane Cemetery had DONALDSON buried there also. I do NOT have a direct DONALDSON line but my paternal grandmother Morna Evalene (BESS) HIMES was related to most of the early surnames of the area somehow. Ramona, There were also DONALDSON in the Old Hurricane cemetery. If I have your names and some dates and I check them also. I do NOT have a cemetery book or index. I hope this helps I have in mine and a cousin's hand copied tombstone inscriptions and other notes that Donaldson Cemetery is in South Hurricane Twp. I don't know if any stones are still there. In DONALDSON Cemetery I show a few burials DONALDSON, Barnet died 23 Sept 1855 age 70 yrs 11 ms 21 ds; Charity died 27 April 1859 age 65 yrs; Mary wife of B. died 1 Sept 1840 age 33 yrs 6 ms 29 ds; Thomas died 1 January 1838 age 65 yrs; two footstones no headstone with L.D. & W. S.; Winney daughter of J. T. & H. A. died 4 Nov 1852 age 1 yr 10 m 12 d; Does this help?
