Penny, Have you heard of "Keen's Chapel Cemetary" that is in Fayette County,IL. ? In my records, this is where most of my ancestors are buried. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from anyone. FAMILY: Martha Ann Wherly Staples May - born march 1818 in VA, died 26NOV1907 and is buried in Fayette Cty. Farm Cemetery, IL. She was married 21OCT1841 in Henry County, VA to Sanford May. They had 8 or 9 children and I would love to find information on her family. Theresa, I spoke with the editor of the Fayette Genealogical Society. She told me that Keen's Chapel Cemetery is across the Fayette County line and located in Clay County, IL You may want to check with Clay County GenWeb Project and Clay County Genealogical Society. The Kruse Family is mentioned in the Genealogical Society publication named Fayette Facts Volume 27 Number 2 p.43-45.
