Dear Nancy, I have Thomas F. Williams (whom we always called "Uncle Bud") born 22 October 1869. I believe his father was also Thomas F. Williams---The last child of Uncle Bud and Aunt Tillie (Hill) Williams was given the name August. Nancy, can you tell me if Thomas F. (Sr) and your Augustus Williams are of the same family? And if so, I will surely appreciate a copy of the pension records. Do you remember the western singer "Tex" Williams? Tex is a son of Uncle Bud and Aunt Tillie (Hill) Williams---Nola (Hill) Ochs in KS. nj shepherdson wrote: > Hi all-- > > I just received the Civil War pension records of my great-great grandfather > Augustus WILLIAMS.
