John......I know of no online cemetery indexes for Effingham County. But I have copies of the cemetery books for some of the cemeteries in Effingham. I checked the DAR book for Oak Ridge Cemetery (the older section) and didn't find him. I checked the DAR book for St. Anthony's Cemetery. He's not there either. I also checked for a possible alternate spelling of Lienen. No luck there either. Have you checked with the County Clerk's office to see if there is a death record for him and his wife? Usually the death record states the place of burial. I did a quick check of both the 1880 and 1900 Effingham Co. census and found them to be living in Teutopolis. They're probably buried there? -----Original Message----- From: Linda Lambert [mailto:ktlkate@extremezone.com] Sent: Sunday, June 19, 2005 11:15 PM To: ILEFFING-L@rootsweb.com John......I know of no online cemetery indexes for Effingham County.
