Speaking of Legacy -- the South Suburban Genealogy and Historical Society (SSGHS) http://www.rootsweb.com/~ssghs/ had a nice forward to a series of articles about that. These were specifics, too, depending on what you have, paper reference material, old documents, CD's, photos, etc., including a Library of Congress e-mail Q & A about conservation -- which I've used -- excellent. Come to think of it, how many on this mailing list have made provisions for all their hard work after they pass? If a family member is not interested, and no one in the family will continue or build upon your work, what will happen? Might be time to think about this..........to make sure that your work lives on.
