I don't normally talk specifically about genealogy products, etc., BUT....I went to the National Genealogy Society conference in Phoenix this past week. I helped in the vendor's booth for "The Master Genealogist" genealogy software program, which I have used for years. I took some time to wander about the vendor area to see what I couldn't live without <grin>. I'm always on the lookout for Illinois items to add to my personal library here in Arizona. Guess what I found? A genealogy bulletin from Heritage Creations. It is issue number 65, October, 2004 and cost me $4.95. The content is mostly censuses & substitutes for the Old Northwest Territory (includes Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin). Also included is a historical timeline for the Northwest Territory. Needless to say, I bought it, but didn't get a chance to look at it until tonite. If you have a chance to get one of these, I recommend it. Hopefully, the genealogy society in Effingham has a copy. I can see it being a welcome addition to their reference library.
