Dear Eleanor, Thank you so much for the information you provided. It answered several questions that I had. I now know the location of the grave of Elizabeth Leatherman. She died in Golden City, Barton Co, MO and I have been searching there for her gravesite. I had no idea she was at Edgewood. The Harvey J. Leatherman and Mary T. Leatherman are children of Christian Peter & Elizabeth. I now know their birth and death dates instead of estimating them from census records. The rest of their children are: William, Jacob, Nancy, George, Elizabeth and Dorothy Alice (Married Franklin Goodnight) and my 2nd great grandfather, James Henry Leatherman.
