    3. Patti, My ggrandfather, Aaron Harrell, in his 2nd marriage, married Mary Ellen Hardsock Beck 1862 (b. 1834, OH; d. 1922, Effingham Co. IL; bur. Altamont, Effingham Co. IL, Salem Cem.) in Effingham Co., IL. In an old, old Harrell family Bible ,which I have and probably started in the family with this Aaron Harrell and his 1st wife, Cinthia Ann Kelso, there is listed a James Beck which died on Oct.21, 1882. This is probably a son from her Beck marriage, but I have no idea. Although the dates don't coincide with your James Beck, there has to be a connection. This doesn't really solve anything for your search, but it is interesting. Good luck in your search and should I uncover any pertinent info I will contact you.
