This is my family! I too have been researching this line for many years. William Orr/Ore married Caroline Virginia Nixon on 1 December 1844 in Warren Co., Indiana. They then moved to Coles Co., Illinois and Clay County Illinois. I am descended from their first child Eliza, who was born in Indiana. I have information on her and on her brother, Charles but the other sibling's information is sketchy. I could never find Caroline's death record to find her parents and I lost William after the 1870 census. I'm thinking now he may have gone to Iowa to live with his son Jasper.
