    3. Richard, Josiah Gibson was minister of the Methodist Church in Effingham from 1880 thru 1883. He must have served some time in 1879 if that is when your marriage occured. The church is still going, although they haved changed locations. It is now Centenary United Methodist Church. The address is 203 E. Grove, Effingham, IL 62401.     3. Hi Audrey, Do you have any information regarding the Methodist Church in Liberty Township, which became Beecher City? My ggg grandfather was a Methodist minister in Liberty, I think sometime after his arrival there in 1860. His name was Arunah CLARK. He also served as Justice of the Peace. If you have any information or any leads to where I could get information about him or his ministry (church), I would appreciate it.
