Her book has been acknowledged by all to be the BEST source of information on this pervasive family. Three Bounds cousins received her permission and encouragement to revise and update her book, so in March, they met in Florida for an intensive re-write, including those corrections/additions that were sent to Ruth after the first edition was published. There are now nearly 500 pages, and over 10,000 names in a complete index! Eleanor Poe Bounds, a familiar face at the Effingham Mathes library, has been a Bounds researcher for many years.
