I need some help with the descendants of my great-great grandparents, George W. LEITZELL and Matilda STRUNK LEITZELL, married in Union Co. PA in 1850 They came to Effingham Co. in 1866 from Centre Co. PA and settled on a farm in Moccasin Twp. just north of present day Altamont. They brought six children with them; Oliver, James, Rolandus, Charles, Robert (my great-grandfather) and Anna. They had three more children after coming to Illinois; Lavinia, George and Margaret. They were prominent members of the Methodist Episcopal Church (now United Methodist) in Altamont. They are mentioned in the 1883 History of Effingham County, but no mention is made of their descendants. I know when and where they were all born, but other than Robert and Anna (who married John Ehlers in Dec., 1881), I have no information on the rest of them; i.e. where they moved to, who they married, and when they died. Can anyone help me out?
