The IRAD that you are looking for is at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston Illinois. I know cause we just went there to do some research of our own and it was for effingham County. We live about 10 minutes from there. They will take phone requests if you have one and the phone number is 217 581 6093 and they are more than happy to help. For death records you might check the Social security Death index at www.rootsweb.com there is a link there to the most complete version of the SSDI.
