OBITUARY Elizabeth Hensley, wife of Wil- liam Hensley, was born December 3, 1842, and departed this life Septem- ber 24, 1906, aged 63 years, 9 months and 21 days. Her first mar- riage was to James Doyle and to them were born four children, all of whom are living. Her second mar- riage was to Wm. Hensley. To this union were born two children, both living. She was a loving mother, al- ways trying to make all happy. In her home she never tired of doing good for all, and to make home a place of joy and comfort to all who came to see and to rest with her. She was a dear and loving wife, lov- ing her husband as only a true wife can love. She always made him the object of her care and love, trying to satisfy every wish athat she knew was his. Her home was a pleasant place as far as she could make it, and best of all she was a christian. She told the writer of this that she was ready to go to that bright world of the blessed, there to live and en- joy the comfort and rest forever. Oh, that the dear husband and chil- dren will so live that they can be sure of meeting her in that land. The funderal was held at Eben- eezer church, conducted by E.E. Sherwood, of the M. E. South. His text was Numbers 23, and part of the 10th verse: "Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end bbe like His." There was a large number of neighbors and friends to say good-bye to her sleep- ing form. _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
