We have a relative, Dr. George Harold INGRAM b: 1817 in Kentucky, d: 26 JAN 1894. He is buried in the Freemanton Cemetery, Effingham Co., Il. I understand the Effingham Library has a lot of information on him. Since I live in Oregon and I don't have any vacation time left - would it be possbile - if someone is going that way - to take a photo of his obit?? If you run across a picture of him, I will gladly pay postage. Here's a litte more on George: (in case you don't find his obit) Married: 18 JUL 1839 in Effingham Co. to Susannah Thornton. Married: 27 DEC 1846 in Effingham Co. to Mary Ann Dresbach. Married: 24 NOV 1856 in Effingham Co. to Nancy Jane Roberson. Married: 28 FEB 1876 in Effingham Co. to Abbie B. Castle. George's son is my husbands' grandpa - James Henry INGRAM. James was married 16 June 1887 to Margaret Alice CHEZEM. They were married at the residence of J. C BIRD. Witnesses: Adrian PARKER and M. J. Bird. Perhaps there is a writeup in the newspaper about them?? A picture would be great. Did I give you enough range???? One of George's other son's married Charlotte BRACKEN on 8 MAR 1887. I know the Bracken's were a respected family of Effingham Co. too.
