OK this time Ill type it out. Sorry about that. This is being posted with the permission of Bonnie, Terrys daughter. HUFF, DEWARD Beloved Dad, Papa, Coach Passed away August 16 2005 in Riverside California at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife Grace, children Terry of Colorado, Mark of Riverside, Kris of Riverside, Nancy Embry of Bloomington IN, Bonnie Morgan of Dumont NJ and Edward of Bloomington IN, as well as 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Terry proudly served our country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He was an accident research specialist for the Automobile Club of Southern California for 30 years and was on the cutting edge of accident and arson investigation. Following his retirement, Terry continued to provide his expertise the past 10 years as a forensic consultant in accident reconstruction and failure analysis. He received multiple awards and certificates, including recognition from UCLA, the Inter-industry Conference on Auto Collision Repair, and Douglas Aircraft Company. He was a cited consultant on multiple research publications and taught countless seminars and lectures in his field. Terry served on multiple boards and commissions, including the Veterans Advisory Committee, various school boards, Riverside County Transportation Commission, and citizen advisory commissions. He also coached Little League baseball and Pop Warner football, and was the membership chairman of his local Cub Scout troop. His dedication to his work and quick sense of humor were only surpassed by his intense love for his family. It would be difficult to talk with Terry for more than a few moments before he would talk about one of his children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren, beaming with pride the entire time. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Grimes-Akes Family Funeral Home (951-737-3771). Terry was a welcome contributor to our mailing list. He had deep ties to Effingham County and Teutopolis, in particular. Every time I went back home, hed tell me to go up to the Country Kitchen Café and have a cinnamon roll for him.
