Linda, I agree with Matt. You and Dorothy and several others on the mailing list have been a great help to me. Already checked Barney Hilmes' obit in the 1929 Altamont News. That's where I came up with the name Mary (Marie) Deters. Prior to that, I had no idea who his first wife was. St.Anthony's church is going to check their church burial records and see what they can find. F.Y.I. They told me that their cemetery grave location records from that time period were destroyed in a fire. Again, thanks for the help.
