Hello list, Since everyone has been talking about books lately, I thought I would throw something out there.... A distant cousin of mine got in contact with me a few months ago. She was the niece of a man (who?) who had written a 64 page book on the Luechtefeld/Luchtefeld family of Illinois, concentrating of the Luchtefeld family of Effingham County. Well, since that time, something has happened to her because her email is not receiving any more mail. At first I thought I had just made too many requests to help me identify people and she had somehow made it so MY emails did not get to her. Then I tried sending an email to her via my work account and my boss's personal account, both coming up with the same message that "this user's account cannot accept any more email." This has been going on for a few months now. I have tried to obtain a copy of the out-of-print book from the LDS library in Salt Lake, but it doesn't seem to have a microfilm or any other accession number. The librarians there tell me they have no record of that surname at all, in any form, in any database. So, I was wondering, does anyone have a copy of this book or does the genealogical society there have one or does anyone know of anyone else, preferably with email, who might have a copy? Russell D.
