My Grandmother had always been told something different, but we got lucky and now we are on the right track (hopefully). I am trying to discover earlier generations...I have quite a bit of information on the following people down, but not up. Book B, p. 168 Effingham Co., Il marriage book Children are: Christie Ann Vangordon, born December 25, 1868 in Effingham Co., Il; John H. Vangordon, born June 17, 1869. Estella V. Vangordon, born December 20, 1870. Charles F. Vangordon, born December 07, 1871 Christie Ann Vangordon married Amariah Flaharty June 1888 in Effingham Co., Centrailia, Il, son of Greenberry Flaharty and Sarah Mitchell. He was born September 05, 1859 in Louisville, Il (near), and died March 30, 1940 in Vermillion Co., Danville, Il. Marriage Book 1, p. 162, #2302, license date 16 Jun 1888,
