Some of us are learning......and that's great. All are welcome here, at all levels.... But.....please don't expect everyone to conform to any standards. The only standard I set for here is that we all help one another. That means not only with lookup information, but with patience and understanding. We have not yet had a flaming incident on this list, and for that I am extremely grateful. We who have Effingham County roots are the best people around, and when I see how unfriendly some of the other mailing lists are, I thank my lucky stars that we all get along so well. But....be warned....if a flaming incident ever does happen, I will react swiftly. I will not tolerate that on this list...... So for now, let's just enjoy the interaction between our people, and not worry so much about cutting and pasting (which some may not know how to do yet) and other computer tips and tricks......let's concentrate more on genealogy and friendship.
