This message I mistakenly sent from our default email, too: I am looking for information on the death of William Henry BAILEY Jr. My aunt (Nellie Arline BAILEY) told me she always wondered about him being shot to death, but that her father - my grandfather, Everet Daniel BAILEY - would never speak about it. In January, my uncle (Everet Lloyd BAILEY) said that his mother used to have a newspaper story about the shooting. Does anyone know how/where I could find the newspaper story of this incident? Found an article on ancestry newspaper archives. This William Bailey was shot and murdered, was a saloonkeeper.
