NADING, SOWERS, ROTHROCK, LEEDIKER, SMITH, CANTWELL, TUCKER, McMANAHAN, WATERS, WHALEN, JOHNSON, LEWIS, SINK, MODROW, CLODFELTER, TREADWAY, QUIGLEY, HINKLE, FISHEL: George NADING (1784-1866) married Anna Maria SAUERS (SOWERS (1789-1854) married in 1809 at Forsyth Co., NC. They moved to Edwards/Richland Co., IL in 1840. They are buried at West Salem Moravian Church cemetery. They had five children: i. stillborn daughter NADING (1810-1810); buried in NC ii. Joseph NADING (1811-1862) married Maria (Polly) ROTHROCK (1812-1880) in 1834 at Forsyth Co., NC. Joseph buried at West Salem Moravian. Polly in Crockett, TX by her daughter Louisa NADING LEEDIKER. They had seven children (1836-1850) who married into LEEDIKER, SMITH, CANTWELL, TUCKER, McMANAHAN, WATERS, WHALEN, JOHNSON and LEWIS families iii. Jacob NADING (1813-1876) married Mary (Molly) Magdalena SINK (ZINK) (1818-1876) in c1837 at Davidson Co., NC. Buried at Smith Moravian Cemetery in West Salem. They had six children (1838-1849) who married into MODROW (spelling?), CLODFELTER, TREADWAY and LEWIS families, all in Richland Co., IL. iv. John NADING (1816-1892) married Margaret QUIGLEY (1824-1894) in 1842. She was daughter of Dennis and Charity QUIGLEY. Family moved to Clayton Co., IA. v. Charles Leander NADING Sr. (1819-1888) married Catherine CLODFELTER (1819-1896) in 1841 at West Salem, Edwards Co., IL. They moved to Labette Co., KS in the Fall of 1870. They had 13 children (1842-1861), all of whom moved to KS. Catherine was daughter of Michael CLODFELTER (1787-1858) and Sarah HINKLE (1790-1873).
