ROTHROCK, HAUSER, MUELLER, HOEHNS (HANES), TESCH, TSH, WALK, CLODFELTER, WALSER, HEDRICK, HINKLE, WEYL, WILDE, TURNER, ALBIN, SIEVERS, WILLIAMS, STEPHENS, NADING: Philip ROTHROCK (1776-1858) (son of Peter ROTHROCK (1746-1829) and Catharine MUELLER (1749-1803)) married Christena HAUSER (1777-1855) (daughter of Heinrich HAUSER (1754-1821) and Catherina HOEHNS (1754-1786 or 1818) in 1800 at Forsyth Co., NC. Late in life (c1844) they moved to Edwards Co., IL; where they are buried at the West Salem Moravian church. They were the parents of seven children: i. infant daughter ROTHROCK (1801-1801): buried in NC ii. Elizabeth (Betsey) ROTHROCK (1802-1881): never married, buried at West Salem iii. Susanna Barbara ROTHROCK (1803-1855): married a Mr. TESCH (TESH); buried in NC iv. Lydia ROTHROCK (1806-1877): married Charles Christian WALK (1805-1873) in 1827 at Davidson Co., NC; moved to Edwards Co., IL. See separate query. v. Joel ROTHROCK (1808-1879): married Susanna (Susan) CLODFELTER (1814-1891) in 1834 at Davidson Co., NC. They moved to West Salem, Edwards Co., IL and are buried at the West Salem Moravian Church cemetery. They had nine children between 1834 and 1854. The children married into the WALSER (twice), HEDRICK, HINKLE, WEYL (WILDE), TURNER, ALBIN, SIEVERS, WILLIAMS, STEPHENS and CLODFELTER families in Edwards and Richland Co., IL. vi. Maria ROTHROCK (1812-1880): married Joseph NADING (1811-1862) in 1834 at Forsyth Co., NC. Moved to Edwards Co., IL and had seven children. See separate query. vii. Pauline Christena ROTHROCK (1817-1856): married John C. (or A.?) CLODFELTER (1810-???) in 1843 at Edwards Co., IL. Pauline (and John?) is buried at West Salem Moravian Cemetery.
