Another researcher referred me to a web page which has some information about this HUDSON family (in southeastern Indiana, near DEPUTY, IN) on it. To my surprise it also had some Lawrence and Crawford Counties, IL families on it. To my further surprise it also had information on the ALLISON family of Edwards Co., IL on it. Jane HUNT, daughter of John and Martha JENKINS HUNT, married Isaac ALLISON. This web page gives the names of the parents, siblings and grandfather of Isaac - which was information I had never seen before. http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/b/o/t/Paul-R-Botts 688.
