Looking for information on Allen SMITH. He married Elizabeth Jane RAGAN in Blount County, TN and moved to Illinois. At some point in time, they had residence in Edwards County, as one of their daughters (Nancy Elizabeth SMITH) was born there in 1861. Allen died in 1877. I do not know if he is buried in Edwards County or not. I do not recall seeing his name lited in the Wayne County cemetery books. I will be grateful for any information on this man or the family Verdaine Hooper
