Beth: the only reference I have found to Margaret Thompson that married John Michels was that she was the daughter of Moses and Rachel, and was presumably born in England. Very confusing. So my answer is...I don't know where she was born, but I would guess probably in IL. Let me know if you find anything. By the way, where do you live?
