Thanks very much Terry. I had some of the info, but not most of it. The father Nickolas was born in Albersweiler Bavaria, which I guess has been translated into Albertsville. Probably not a bad translation either! Was there a Royal Mossberger or Mossbarger listed in the Cemetery records. He was also a son of Katherine and J.D. and I believe he died before Katherine also. Well, thanks again. Hello Terry, It was May 15, that you gave me the lead on the White Co Group, about the Quigley's in Edwards Co. I searched the US Gov lands sales and found Dennis had land in Wabash Co. as well. I looked over the Quigley Forum page and contacted Dennis Quigley researchers named Eric & Christine Martin. In response to my request to Tim, you sent me data from your resources. Dan Stevenson in turn, sent data he had on Quigley. When I posted my request to Tim, I posted to the group by accident. Some list owners encourage people to respond to the individual, and that is what I usually do. Had I done that, I would not have received the info I did. I think that says a lot for posting to the group. Maybe in a large group it makes problems for the server, I don't know. I do know, I am most thankful for the information a have received, even though it may turn out to be not my Quigley's, it is another stone turned over in my quest, and I have sent everything to Eric & Christine for there review. With Allison, Davis, and DeWitt, I can go have way back to the Flood, but I can't find my grandfather Quigley's grave. I will most likely go to mine before I do. Thanks again, Dave

Terry, The parents were Nicklaus and Christine (nee Miesel). They had 12 children: Katherine, George, Nick, Christina, Fred, Charlotta, William, Barbara, Emma, Louis, Ernest, and Mayme. I believe they may have also had one who died in infancy. I think they came to Edwards in the late 1870s or so. I haven't seen Negley as a surname for them, but I don't think I could rule it out either. The parents were born in Germany.
