You have a beautiful family. I recall that dark hair was rather rare in Drayton Plains. I also remember that Mr. Mapes had mechanical skills and that he had a business in Drayton Plains. My father, Max Taylor, often spoke fondly of him. We lived in Drayton Plains from 1948-1955 and my father managed Hutchinson Trailer Sales businesses (the brand was Pontiac Chief) in Drayton Plains, Royal Oak, and East Lansing. We moved to Flint in 1955 and remained in that area, so I lost touch with Drayton Plains families as I was just 14 at the time.
