I have two questions on Edgar Co. IL marriage records. I have an Edgar Co. Illinois marriage (which you can see on the Illinois Statewide Marriage Index, 1763-1900) Newell, David to Doubleday, Rebecca 06/28/1833 1. On this index, after her name is "LA 77" I assume this refers to a License Application. Does anybody know if the License Applications have been filmed? Also, Under Vol/Page is "SA/ 20" Under License No. is "SA 308" 2. Does anybody know what "SA" refers to? I see that Salt Lake has filmed some of the marriage records (Marriage record returns and Marriage records) but the volumes mentioned are 1A and 1B.
