She was the daughter Jacob Heady and Ellen Overlease. After her mother died around 1861 she looked aftewr her younger brother George and sister Mary. Sometime in the 1860's she married James Riggin who had been married before and had children. According to a letter Rebecca's sister Martha knew James and liked him. She also praised Rebecca for looking after his Children. Rebecca's brother Thomas was a Cicil war veteran. He said he was born in Green co., Ill. This family maintained contact with each other through letter writing..If any one cansupply more information I would appreciate it. Jim Heady
