In 1839 she maried Abraham Thornton in Edgar co. Ill. On the 1850 census the heady of the house is Abiah Thornton who was born around 1806 in S.C. I am not certain that Abraham and Abiah or the same person. The four children listed on this census Is Oliver P.;Joseph J.; Harriet and James A. My gg grandmother was Harriet who went by the name Ida the rest of her life. She married Thomas Heady in 1866 in Ill. and their first child was born in Ill. His name was Ulysses Simpson Heady. On his Civil war paper Thomas said he was born in Green co. Ill...If any one knows of this family please let me know. Jim Heady
